My name is Kavion Sabio. I'm a film photographer, exhibiting artist, and the creator of The Analog Letter — a film photography mail club for those who love analog photography and the process by which the photos are created. The photos I shoot and the stories behind them are ones I love to tell, but in a fast-paced digital world they get a like and a scroll instead of a chance to be physically held, read, and absorbed in a meaningful way.
Everything I send in this monthly mail club is created by me. There is no team, no warehouse. Just a man who enjoys the process of creating art and sending it to you. Each month I choose the frame, write the letter, design the bookmarks, and create the stickers myself, all of which is personally addressed to you.
My work has hung in galleries in New York, Mexico City, Spain, Switzerland, and around the globe — but my desire has always been to share my work with people so they can put it in their homes, and enjoy the intention behind it.
Volume One has already been shot, developed and scanned: twelve rolls of film, over four hundred images to choose from, and several letters' worth of stories waiting to be written and sent. Every envelope is handled with care as each month approaches.

Every envelope goes out with a stamp instead of a tracking number. The anticipation of not knowing exactly when it will arrive in your mailbox is what makes receiving it a genuine pleasure.

Every envelope is hand-assembled by me. If something still gets through — a bend, a crease, water — send me a photo and I'll mail a replacement print at no charge.
Every 5×7 frame is printed on premium archival, smooth matte fine art paper — rich tones, built to last decades, not a season. Every letter and thank you card is printed on heavy 130 lb (352 gsm) textured linen paper, meant to be kept. Every bookmark is printed on 14 pt. gloss paper, and every sticker set on a matte-finish premium vinyl film that is water, dishwasher and oil resistant.
Three square vinyl stickers, designed to look like single film frames, from the same roll the print came from that month. Durable enough for a laptop, a water bottle, a hard case. A different set of three every month.
No — each is its own keepsake. Every bookmark holds three frames from that month's roll, marked with its film stock and place. They're meant to be collected and used, one a month, not assembled into a single sheet.
Nothing is lost. Update your card in Posthouse and you pick up with the next batch. Past issues stay available afterward as standalone prints in the shop, sent directly from the print lab with a full-page version of that month's Letter. The archive stays open — members simply see each frame first.
